Lucy’s Wine is a new brand launched in February 2021 by founder Lucy Dalwadi. Lucy’s wine sells a range of natural, organic and sustainable wines which currently retail as box sets to suit different tastes.
As a new brand, first impressions are important! The key requirement was a well designed, well structured online store that showcases the brands personality and ethics.
The back-end of the website needs to support the business and their operations. Various integrations from shipping and logistics to email marketing were required, as the final site should streamline the business operations and make their processes more efficient.
First we took a close look at Lucy’s Wine to understand the brand and the business, and completed an analysis of existing competitors.
Once we had all of the information, along with the logo, branding guidelines and custom photography, we built an initial prototype of the website which was presented to the client. We worked closely with Lucy to incorporate design revisions, to ensure she was happy with the store-front, whilst ensuring good UX (user experience) practices where adhered to.
When the front-end was complete, we implemented multiple configurations to back-end. This ensured that Lucy and her staff would be able to run the business efficiently, with a number of well structured automations and integrations.
